Travis Beals arrived in Iditarod shortly after Dallas Seavey. There, the veteran musher talked about his run in & strategy moving forward.
Travis Beals and his team have had some troubles on the trail into McGrath, but looks at last year as a reason to stay optimistic.
Travis Beals & Joar Leifseth Ulsom came into McGrath immediately after Lance Mackey. Beals decided to rest in McGrath, while Ulsom left for Takotna.
Lance Mackey was the 4th Musher out of Rainy Pass. Shortly after, Brent Sass blew through & Travis Beals left the checkpoint in 6th place.
The Insiders caught up with Travis Beals in Anchorage Saturday morning.
Travis Beals knows he has a great team and that they trained well. So what will it take to get to Nome first?
