Updates on Pete and Joar’s trek out of White Mountain.
Joar says the trip from Koyuk to White Mountain was a difficult one due to drifting snow and wind.
The defending champion reached White Mountain 41 minutes behind Pete Kaiser.
Bruce has high expectations for Kaiser to finish first in the race, however, Joar has a close follow on Kaiser.
The defending champion spent only 2 minutes in the Unalakleet checkpoint before heading for Shaktoolik.
